Again most of the chronic lymphocytic leukemia patients are most often misdiagnosed as other unrelated illnesses. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia is a disease that takes a long time to manifest its symptoms hence allowing it to permeate and cause an impairment on our white blood cells and the bone marrow. As the time passed the affected, cancerous cells began to replicate in huge numbers.

Common symptoms

Weakness and Fatigue:

One manifestation that is observed in the case of chronic lymphocytic leukemia is tiredness that pervades most of the time. This is mainly due to the fact that healthy formation of red blood cells in the body is prevented by the high number of enlarged lymphocytes. Such a weakness is not the kind that can be handled by a rest period as it originates from the muscles.

Enlarged Lymph nodes

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia( CLL) substantially leads to blowup of lymph nodes. This type of condition is termed as lymphadenopathy. These enlarged lymph nodes are usually painless. And are often found in the Neck, groin, and armpits. They are perceptible beneath the skin.

Constantly occurring Infections:

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia affects the normal functioning of the lymphocytes making the immunity of the body to be weakened. These recurrent infections mainly affect the respiratory or urinary systems and are known to be deadly.

Extreme Weight loss

Weight loss is also one of the signs that people with chronic lymphocytic leukemia experience. Night sweating is also among the signs of chronic lymphocytic leukemia. While the disease is in progress, patients complain of sweating and their clothes are often soaked in sweat hence being uncomfortable.

Fever

The fever occurs to raise the body temperature and fight off the infections and the affected leukemia cells. This is a type of body’s immune system.

Anemia

Another manifestation of CLL is low temperature fever that is present most of the time, yet does not present any cause that is easily identifiable. Anemia may also make the case feel weak.

Other symptoms:

Some patients may experience other symptoms which are less common, such as:
