This hormone increases prematurely in girls of 10th or 11th class because they also have stress of studies, results, proper career and personal life.

Dr. Anjali also tells in the podcast show that she found in her career that women who are working in the BPO sector also have to face problems like PCOS. These women also have so much stress and working pressure that problems like PCOD and PCOS are common for them.

PSRI Hospital Consultant Gynecologist Dr. Amoditha Ahuja says that the problem of PCOS usually affects women after the age of 20 years, but it is not necessary that it occurs only after this age. She says that due to the deteriorating eating habits in today's lifestyle, every girl who has crossed puberty, that is, those who have started menstruating, can have this problem. Now a lot of change has been seen in the age of menses. Earlier girls used to start menstruating at the age of 15 or 16 years, but now girls get menstruating even at the age of 11-12 years.

Irregular periods or no periods for 2-3 months continuously.
Hair growth on the face, especially in the jaw area.
